What are you doing with your opportunities?
In our lives we will be continually presented opportunities.
They will come in al shapes and sizes.
Opportunities for Good!
Opportunities for evil!
Opportunities for God!
(Mat 26:13-16 KJV)
Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. {14} Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, {15} And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. {16} And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.(Gal 6:9-10 KJV) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. {10} As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

- To make money.
- To take vacations
- To get advances in your jobs
- Bless others
- Curse others
- Good husband or wife
- Bad husband or wife
- Adultery
- Be a good son or daughter
- Rebellion
- Share your faith
- Betray your faith
- Save others from hell
- Damn others to hell
- Work in the vineyard of the Lord
- Do the works of the flesh
Our lives are full of opportunities!
One after the other they come…time after time they arrive and they are pregnant with the potential for great works for the Lord or great evil.
Your whole live is one big opportunity!
You can be a blessing or take advantage of others!
You can also lose your opportunities!
Window of opportunity!
You must seize every opportunity while it is alive!
"The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized during the lifetime of the opportunity"
Once that window coses you will never get it back again!

(Eph 5:15-17 NLT) So be careful how you live, not as fools but as those who are wise. {16} Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days. {17} Don't act thoughtlessly, but try to understand what the Lord wants you to do.
(Col 4:5-6 NLT) Live wisely among those who are not Christians, and make the most of every opportunity. {6} Let your conversation be gracious and effective so that you will have the right answer for everyone.

You will be dragged into synagogues and prisons, and you will be accused before kings and governors of being my followers. {13} This will be your opportunity to tell them about me.(Prov 10:5 NLT) A wise youth works hard all summer; a youth who sleeps away the hour of opportunity brings shame.
Missed opportunities!
Nothing worse than to sit around and live in regret.

It is the reality we live with everyday of ours lives…what could have been!!

But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from you. {43} Before long your enemies will build ramparts against your walls and encircle you and close in on you. {44} They will crush you to the ground, and your children with you. Your enemies will not leave a single stone in place, because you have rejected the opportunity God offered you."God is serious about the opportunities that he gives you!
Opportunities
- Time oriented!
- Should be judged
- Some should be prayed about
- Some should be turned away
- Can bring great blessing in your life
- Can cause great distress
- Change a world…for batter and worse!

When the night falls it becomes what could have been!
Reasons why we miss opportunities
- Fear
- Pride
- Sin
An opportunity is a two sided coin….on one side is the Fathers will and the other is sin!
- Work in the Kingdom
- Reach the lost
- Bless those around you – give your flowers now!
- Lay up treasures in heaven
You can miss your opportunity as an individual
A church can miss their opportunity as a body
